Katie Freeman is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) and Registered Dietitian (RD). She is a graduate of A.T. Still University, where she received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to this, she received her master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at University of Washington and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Nutrition at Brigham Young University. She worked multiple years as an inpatient clinical dietitian where she worked in ICU, Neonatal ICU, and provided Medical Nutrition Therapy and patient nutrition education before attending PA school.
Katie’s clinical interests include preventative care and behavior modification including promotion of a heart-healthy lifestyle. Katie works closely with the cardiologists and other Advanced Practice Providers at Lifetime Heart and Vascular to provide excellent patient care.
During her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cycling, reading, going to church, traveling abroad, and singing in a community choir.
